Born and raised in the Old Pueblo, Richard’s music reflects his lifelong connection to Southern Arizona. Performing primarily on nylon-string guitar, his style carries a subtle Spanish influence layered over classical technique—creating warm, melodic performances that feel elegant yet approachable.

Richard’s musical journey began at just five years old, inspired by listening to Let It Be on a family turntable. By age nine, he was fully immersed in music, studying formally and playing in school bands through high school. More than fifty years later, that dedication shines through in every performance, marked by precision, emotion, and masterful musicianship.

Classically trained and highly sought after for weddings and high-end events, Richard brings a polished presence to the stage while maintaining a relaxed, inviting atmosphere. His performances blend thoughtful arrangements with soulful interpretation, making him a perfect fit for a laid-back Sunday afternoon on the mountain.
