Bluegrass in the Pines with the Old Pueblo Bluegrass Band
Old Pueblo Bluegrass Band
Music on the Mountain Performance
Sunday, September 6, 2026 | 1:00–4:00 PM
Bring your Sunday afternoon to life with the lively, foot-stomping sound of the Old Pueblo Bluegrass Band, performing live as part of the Music on the Mountain concert series at Mount Lemmon Lodge.
For more than five years, the Old Pueblo Bluegrass Band has been delighting audiences with high-energy bluegrass rooted in tradition and driven by exceptional musicianship. Led by Tucson native Reid Griffin on guitar and vocals, the band delivers a sound shaped by decades of experience performing throughout the Southwest and touring internationally with the Griffin Brothers.
On bass and vocals, Steve Reed brings a rich musical background that spans classical training, jazz, and bluegrass—adding depth and versatility to the band’s dynamic arrangements. Fiddler Bob Frankot rounds out the group with a lifetime immersed in bluegrass, including years performing with California’s popular band Hot Off the Press before making his way to the Old Pueblo.
Together, the Old Pueblo Bluegrass Band creates an upbeat, engaging performance that feels perfectly at home in the mountain setting—ideal for a relaxed afternoon of live music, cool air, and mountain views.
Join us Sunday, September 6 from 1–4 PM and enjoy bluegrass the way it’s meant to be heard—live, energetic, and surrounded by the pines.
