Close out the Music on the Mountain season with an evocative performance from Grand Dorado, the music project of Tucson singer-songwriter and guitarist Jeremy Gilliam. Known for his thoughtful songwriting and warm vocal presence, Jeremy blends classic singer-songwriter sensibilities with influences from rock, country, blues, and Americana for a sound that feels both timeless and deeply personal.
Jeremy’s original work draws inspiration from the great storytellers and genre-spanning artists of the past and present. His music is shaped by a deep connection to melodic hooks, evocative lyrics, and rich instrumental textures that evoke both the rugged landscapes and emotional landscapes of life.
In 2025, Jeremy released his album Phoenix Rise, a collection of songs that showcase his versatility as a songwriter and instrumentalist. From expressive acoustic ballads to roots-inflected rock and blues-tinged tracks, the album highlights his ability to craft songs that draw listeners in and stay with them long after the performance ends.
Performing under the Grand Dorado name, Jeremy is often accompanied by supporting musicians who add depth and color to his arrangements while keeping the focus on his unique voice and guitar work. His live shows are engaging, sincere, and grounded in the joy of connecting with an audience through music.
